This is a thread for those that may have caught the twitch stream late, or watched it after-the-fact. Toss out questions or comments that might not have hit their chatbox!!

I'll start by asking a question.

A long while ago in an early twitch stream you guys showed off the software you use with Unity that seemed to display and track the story and quest system and allowed you to plug in the cut scenes, dialogue, narration and other tags between various objects within the unity system. Can someone link or name the software when you have a moment? And do you know if it's exclusive to Unity?

Hey Sterling!

Sorry I'm late to replying to this!

So I think that you are talking about Articy! Which is an amazing program. You write all the story, dialogue, triggers, events, and you can add images to go along with the story.

It's actually not even used for Unity. I'm pretty sure Keith used his magic and made a script to make them work together.

Ohh thank you SO MUCH. And kudos for Keith working his voodoo magic to have it plug in and work with your current toolset!

It is a bit pricey but I am tossing it on my wishlist so if it hits a sale I can be notified. If all else, I'll grab it early next year sale or no sale. Looks like a really amazing package.

Well I missed the last Twitch so I am watching it. Looks like you all are sharing some germs.. seems everyone's sick to some degree (or at least a few of you).

Man it was a short one, and fairly quiet. I really am sorry I missed it. Y'all even skipped the goat naming thing for most of it and I guess are announcing it on the next KS update.

also just an FYI the "grass" demo you were trying to share doesn't seem to have come through on the stream so if you are working on the ks update, maybe toss an animated gif of it on there? Please?

Yeah, zoom kicked us out. We'll include the TopHopper update in the KS Update. We missed you Sterling. And yes, half of the studio came back with colds

That explains why you guys were all chasing the last pot of coffee that 'dinged' during the video. Likely being sick the caffeine was total fuel for the day.

I'll try my dardest to get to the next one! It just isn't the same without some goofy 'random trivia' for you guys to chat about while you work. keeps the conversation flowing and seems to also spark chat in the twitch chatbox too, and having everyone engaged is a good thing!

Also if anyone missed this latest Jan 2016 twitch stream, watch it for just the first 5-10 minutes. the whole story Jalil gives about someone with huge eyes is priceless.. hehehe. That should become the opening for all of them - weird stuff Jalil notices when he is out and about hehehe

So you guys mention Plastic is a program you use? It sounds like a program to store and access all the files for the game on various servers and drives? or... maybe I am not understanding what ya'll said.

Plastic is a version control system. Similar to Perforce. In a nut shell, it helps us keep all of our files on every computer up to date.
